- Make your first sound on a Jews Harp
Training Tips
- To place the Jews Harp on your mouth, make sure you hold the Frame properly using your three fingers; your thumb and middle finger holding the bottom, while your pointy finger holds the top of the Frame. Best not to touch the Reed as it mutes the Jews Harp.
- You can also hold the Jews Harp at any way you like and are comfortably with as long as you hold it nice and firmly
- To place it on your mouth, hold it sideways with the Plucker pointing away from your mouth.
- The Plucker is what creates the sound on the Jews Harp, but your mouth resonates it. Place it properly on your mouth between your teeth slightly open and your lips closed. Make sure to also create a hollow shape inside your mouth so it will resonate nicely.
- You can pluck the Plucker any way you like but make sure not to pluck it hard which may cause the Reed to bend.
