Beatboxing Lesson 11
Lesson Overview
Congratulations, you’ve made it to the last lesson of beatboxing techniques with Nathan! Before moving on to creative rhythm timing and breathing exercises Nathan will bring you back to the basics to tie everything together.
Lesson Goals
- Practice using your body to create a rhythm again with all of the new rhythms and rhythm combinations that you have learned
- Practice making the bass sound using the hum and click techniques
- Incorporate all of the techniques you have learned into one session to create the complete beatboxing experience on the didgeridoo
Training Tips
- Your body is just as important as your mouth for keeping a consistent rhythm going. Make sure you are using your body to hold the rhythm
- There aren’t really any new techniques in this lesson, but it is still a very important lesson to make sure you are able to blend all of the techniques together seamlessly
- If you are still having trouble with the base growl, come back to it later before you hurt your throat. The best way to learn the base growl is to set aside a few minutes at the END of every section to avoid injuring your vocal chords
- Don’t freak out at what Nathan does at the end of the video. He’s a nice guy, really!
