Sharper Didgeridoo Drone: Mouthpiece Position

Lesson Overview

In this video we show you that you can play with your mouthpiece on different positions on your lips. It’s a personal choice where you position your lips on the didgeridoo. There is no right or wrong spot, but the different positions may have a big impact on your didgeridoo sound

Lesson Goals

  • Experiment with where you position the didgeridoo on your lips and find what works best for you
  • Pick a position that feels comfortable, plays the drone the easiest and makes the clearest sound

Training Tips

  • If you find that all positions feel the same (there are no better or worse), just stick to playing in the centre

Give it a try, let us know how you go and if you get stuck, post a question in the comments section below.
