Didgeridoo Snare Sound Rhythm
Lesson Overview
In this lesson, Sanshi shows you a rhythm using snare sound on the didgeridoo while breathing in!
Lesson Goals
- Play the rhythm “Wiki-tuwa..PKi-tuwa”
- Be able to breathe in while producing the snare sound and do variation of breathing while playing the rhythm.
- Be able to repeat the rhythm and get faster in speed to produce the popping sound.
Training Tips
- Practice pronouncing the rhythm like delivering a tongue twister.
- Play at a slower speed until you get used to the breathing pattern.
- Find where it feels most comfortable for you to take a breath.
- You can breathe in while producing the snare sound, and on the last syllable “tuwa”
- Try playing the rhythm at a faster speed and produce the popping sound.
- Repeat the steps until you are comfortable playing the rhythm at a faster speed.
