Shhhoh Technique

Lesson Overview

In this lesson, Koji is going to teach us the Shhhoh Technique using the didgeridoo.

Lesson Goals

• Be able to produce the Shhhoh sound and add it on a rhythm on a didgeridoo

Training Tips

• Try producing the Shhhoh sound without the didgeridoo
• This sound can be added at any rhythm on a didgeridoo
• In this lesson, we will try to add it to the rhythm do–wa–wa–do–wa–do–wa
• Try making the rhythm first on the didgeridoo
• Then add the Shhhoh sound before the rhythm
• Keep practicing and repeating the rhythm on a didgeridoo
• Now try adding the Shhhoh sound on the African Rhythm that we previously learned.
• You can also try your own variation of rhythms by adding the Shhhoh sound
