Double Bounce Breath
Lesson Overview
In this lesson we show you how to do a double bounce breath. This technique will allow you to join breaths together which will speed up your playing dramatically
Lesson Goals
- Play two bounce breaths in quick succession
- The two breaths will start feeling like the one technique
- Control your sniff in, so you maintain a comfortable lungful of air
Training Tips
- Practice the double “ha-breath, ha-breath” action without your didgeridoo until it is easy
- You can start slowing with a small gap between the two breaths
- As you get comfortable, close the gap so the breaths join
- A big challenge is to take very small breaths so your lungs don’t get too full
- Eventually you will get so comfortable with this technique that the double bounce will feel like the one technique
- This technique will dramatically speed up your playing and open the door to fast diaphragmatic rhythms
