Didgeridoo Drone: 60 Second Challenge

Lesson Overview

In this lesson, we challenge you to play your didgeridoo for 60 second using a single breath. This goes beyond what is needed to play a good drone, but it sure is a great feeling when you achieve it

Lesson Goals

  • Be able to play the drone for 60 seconds using just one breath

Training Tips

  • Use all the techniques you have learnt so far to achieve the 60 seconds:
    – The Mona Lisa smile
    – You lip tension and position on the mouthpiece
    – Holding the air in your lungs and releasing just enough to vibrate your lips
  • Be careful when trying this challenge. Use your judgement and don’t go beyond your limits
